Idaho tribal gaming compacts


















Section 5. Notwithstanding any other provision of Idaho law, this act shall be in full force and effect after voter approval and immediately upon completion of the canvass of the votes by the Secretary of State. No further action by the executive or legislative branches of state government are required to implement the provisions of this act.

Section 6. The terms of this act are severable such that if any term or provision is declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this act shall continue to be valid and enforceable. It is the intent of the voters, that, to the extent any term or provision is declared to be illegal, void, or unenforceable, the legislature shall take all available steps to enact such term or provision in a legal, valid, and enforceable manner, whether through a statute or a proposed constitutional amendment.
