ABC Corp. SAP to help manage material ordering and inventory management. Use Case formats and contents may vary based on system requirements, organizational standards, or unique situations. However, a majority of Use Cases consist of some fundamental contents which may be applied across a wide range of system types.
This section will provide explanations for each section of the Use Case. Name of Use Case: Provide a short name for the use case which should lend itself to the objective of the system. Description: This section should provide a description of both the reason for using the use case and the expected outcome of the use case. Actors: Actors may be primary or secondary. Primary actors are the people who will be initiating the system described in the use case. Secondary actors are those will participate in the completion of the use case.
Precondition: This section should describe any conditions that must be true or activities that must be completed prior to executing the use case. Postcondition: This section should describe the state of the system at the conclusion of the use case.
You can derive the participants for the session from the results of the Involve Stakeholders method. You might want to send the invitation a few weeks before the session to ensure attendance. Go through the collected challenges, external risks and internal barriers with all participants and add any missing aspects in an open discussion.
If you have not prepared this step before using the Identify Business Challenges method, ask participants to brainstorm silently for 5 minutes challenges, external risks and internal barriers.
Then, give each participant a maximum of 2 minutes to share their ideas and stick them on a whiteboard. As they present their ideas, participants should form clusters with same or very similar ideas. We recommend preparing this step in advance with the Identify Business Challenges method as it will reduce the workshop time and increase the quality of the input. If you have not prepared this step before using the Identify Business Challenges method, give participants 5 minutes to silently come up with as many solution ideas as possible to overcome the previously discussed challenges, external risks and internal barriers.
The ideas should be concrete tangible solutions such as a new application, a specific change in a current process or approach. Indicate rather how and with what means do you envision such result. Once everybody has ideated, each participant has 2 minutes to presents his or her ideas to the team.
During the presentation, similar or same ideas are grouped together. Combine ideas with challenges, external risks and internal barriers to form use-case idea clusters.
Every cluster should contain at least one idea and one challenge. Name the clusters as they get formed. You can name the clusters after the solution idea they contain. Once the integration best practices have been defined, they can be rolled out into the organization and beyond towards external integration developers. By doing so project teams can be empowered to develop interfaces in an agile way based on the defined integration strategy.
This phase also provides a feedback channel for incorporating lessons learned into the integration strategy. As part of this use case organizational aspects and processes are covered such as introducing an Integration Competency Center. This also helps to establish integration as a recognized discipline within an organization, not only to support but also to enable digital transformation projects.
Furthermore, with the help of this methodology integration expertise can be scaled out into the organization, too: For instance by introducing areas for self-service integration implemented by business personas so called citizen integrators. In accordance with the use cases of the new ISA-M Cycle the integration maturity levels have been udpated see figure 6.

The user must first define a dataset schema that consists of features and labels for regression a single label of type NUMBER is allowed , and then upload a dataset which is consistent with such schema. Once the training data is uploaded, the user can start the training process by specifying the ID of the regression template and the desired dataset. The result of the training process is a model which can be used to make predictions for new records.

The regression template available in Data Attribute Recommendation leverages a neural network with dropout layers which are active not only during the training phase but at inference too. This allows the service to sample several predictions, which are inherently stochastic, and estimate the model uncertainty by returning the average value and the standard deviation std of the sampled predictions.
The larger the standard deviation compared to the magnitude of the average, the lower the confidence of the model. This helps understand the model behavior and facilitate the integration of the service into other applications and solutions.
